I compose music
for piano and/or orchestra that is intended for listening,
playing or as background to film. My inspiration is drawn
from many sources; I particularly love the sound of modal
harmonies, and also have a fascination for new ways to
modulate within modes.
I love music almost
as much as I love my major source of inspiration -- found
in nature, hiking through the woods and mountains near
my home. I am also inspired by my music buddies, whose
friendship, warmth, and common purpose are invaluable
to me.
